Shuttle time from Whakaipo Bay - 7.30am!!! Pickup from Road end. 

12.30pm boat pickup

Towering volcanic rock cliffs, spectacular views and a waterfall hidden deep in the Waihaha Valley are highlights of the Waihaha section. The trail has been built with flowing corners and fun downhills, and some short switchback climbs to keep you honest! .  From Taupo we take you to Waihaha bridge the start of this epic day....You then ride the 26.6km to the lake where a boat will pick you up at the pre determined time to transfer you and your bike to Kawakawa bay before riding via Orakau and the newest Otaketake trail to Kinloch and then over the archway bridge and following the signs for the the W2K trail and optional head land loop, once completing the W2k trail you exit into Whakaipo bay where a BBQ and beverage will be waiting for you. Total of 60kms. OR add the headland loop for that little extra.
