A guided heli-biking adventure in Kaimanawa Forest Park is an exhilarating experience that combines a breathtaking helicopter flight with an epic backcountry mountain bike ride. After soaring over the park’s rugged terrain and dense native bush, riders are dropped at a remote high-altitude location. A short climb provides a warm-up before the guided descent begins, weaving through untouched trails, steep descents, and technical switchbacks on a scree-based trail.

Midway through the ride, participants enjoy a well-earned break with a packed lunch, taking in the breathtaking surroundings. As the journey continues, the ride gradually descends towards the valley floor, concluding with a refreshing beverage to celebrate the day’s adventure.

During this time Kaimanawa Adventures will only be open Saturdays weekly but require a minimum of 12 riders for the day for the booking to go ahead.
